Week 6 (9/30/2019-10/06/2019)
SUMMARY AND REFLECTIONS OF THE
MEETING WITH THE LEVEL 5 STUDENTS
As a level 6 student in the dual enrolled program which means that I take my classes from my major
is criminal justice and also English as second language, I had the opportunity to give some advice
ESL 5 students to talk about my experience but also my difficulties that I met during my ESL 6 term.
We went to the class of ESL 5 student and our instructor gave us instructions to follow in order to
carry out this meeting. Before I begin to explain in detail how this happened, I want to emphasize we
that had to explain clearly and in detail what must be done during our ESL 6 class, so it was not
necessary but it was even better to send materials such as how to make a schedule or that kind of
thing. It was really interesting to share my experience with people who want to do the same thing as
me, it was a good time with them.
DO YOU KNOW CIRCLEVILLE ????
that Circleville Circle is a small village 1 hour 10 drive from Cedar city, it is also, a town of only 480
inhabitants and like all the old town hides a story. Circleville is the hometown of my homestay
parent, so it was a way for them to show me the famous circleville they talked to me about but it was
also a way for me to learn a lot more about the history and traditions of Circleville. In addition to
visiting Circleville we also participated in the baptism of the niece of my homestay mother, it was a
pleasant moment of communion and sharing.
We visited the cemetery of Circleville where I could see the tombstone of their parent but also, their
gravestone. I find it scary to see his tombstone in his lifetime but it still remains a few things of
interest. Let me know in the comments if you also already have your gravestone waiting for your
death. We also visited an antique object shop, it was too cool to see these objects of several hundred
years still on sale. Finally, We have a dairy farm belonging to the father of the best friend of my
homestay mother, it was such a great opportunity to see more closely the process of making milk we
drink day and night. I really like this little trip. Do not hesitate to do a little everything circleville, it's
a nice town.
