WEEK 3(9-9-2019 - 9-15-2019)




Let's goo Tbirds!!!!!

I attended a football match which took place at our stadium on 9/14/2019. We played against one of 

the best colleges right now, it was the Texas SFA team. It was a very intense match because these 

two teams have a lot of similarities in terms of strength and even speed. They fought like warriors, it 

was a pleasure to watch this game. Indeed, we won this match with 45 to 38 points. Personally, I

 think we have a really good football team. As I said earlier, they fought like warriors, I really like.

 There were a lot of students who came to support their team. We had the cheerleaders and the SUU 

fanfare, which was giving the team of SUU moral and strength. We started the game with a 

touchdown in the first quarter, everything had started well for us until the opposing team started to 

put a lot of pressure on our team, there was a lot of change of score up to we have the same score in 

the last quarter, which led to overtime. The overtime was thrilling, the two teams were fighting 

elbow to elbow but we win, it was pure happiness to win this game. That's

why I'm proud to be a Tbirds ...





















The Casino Night... Make your games 

Have fun like Las Vegas without even going to Vegas. Indeed, one of the most fun activities of SUU

 took place on September 13th, 2019. This activity had for title Casino night, which means that there 

were distractions that can be found in a casino like 21 or gambling games. It was really interesting 

because this activity allowed me to learn a lot about the different games that can be found in a 

casino, so it allowed me to better understand and learn how to play.

personally, I really liked this activity because as I said, it allowed me to learn a lot about the 

American culture in terms of casino, but also, this activity allowed me to make friends. Indeed, I met

 6 people in total during this activity including 2 french, 2 Polynesians and twins coming from 

Boston. Everything was beautiful, I liked the atmosphere and i spent a pretty good time.
















LIVESTOCK SHOW


I also attended the Livestock show which took place on September 11, 2019 at Cedar Livestock 

market. For those who are wondering what Livestock show is all about, it's simply a cattle auction 

(pigs, sheep) that will be sold according to their weight and size. I'm sure you're wondering what I 

sheep, was doing at this event, I'm living with a family that has spent about 6 months raising pigs

and so it was an opportunity for me to attend at this show and I can assure you that it was interesting.

 I spent nearly two months helping them feed these animals and it was a pleasure to see the fruit of 

our efforts reward because we made a very good sale.

personally, I think that participating in this kind of activity allows you to learn a lot more about the 

culture of the cedar city porchers, that is to say people who take their time to feed and raise pigs and

 also sheep, it was a very nice experience and i'm ready to go back next year. Regarding the 

atmosphere during the Livestock show, I can say that there is a lot of dust because of the number of

 animals that are down, too, there was a lot of people who participated in this show .

WEEK 2(09-02-2019)-(09-08-2019)

    HORSE, FOUR-WHEELER, AND WEDDING WITH MY FAMILY... My second week was one of the most interesting and cool I had in SUU and in Cedar City.  Indeed, I participated in several activities like riding a horse or driving a four-wheeler.  It was my first time riding a horse so i was excited but a little scared because the horses are  impressive because of their height and strength but I really enjoyed it and that was an interesting  moment with my family. Also, my sisters were more excited than me because they are used to ride  horses so that was a good time for them also. Like i said earlier, i really liked to do these activities because it allowed me to spend time with my  family and also because I missed them so much.
