Meeting with the ESL 5 Students

We had this Wednesday, November 6, 2019, a meeting with students of level 5. This meeting was held at the old theater SUU. We created infographics and also brought documents to support our ideas. Everything was well coordinated by their teacher, there were several groups including one  level 6 student with two other students of level 5. We stopped the discussions after one hour of speaking. I really have a good time. I was confident because I knew what I was saying because I have some experience at SUU. I learned a lot from my mistakes so I had some pretty good advice to share with these students. I was able to make friends and the people I spoke to were really attentive and ready to learn from me. I thought for a moment to be a teacher. It was really cool to share my opinions and tips to help other students who want to do like me. To conclude, I have had a good time and I will always be ready to help other people who need help.

SUMMARY AND REFLECTIONS OF THE  MEETING WITH THE LEVEL 5 STUDENTS As a level 6 student in the dual enrolled program which means that I take my classes from my major is criminal justice and also English as second language, I had the opportunity to give some advice ESL 5 students to talk about my experience but also my difficulties that I met during my ESL 6 term. We went to the class of ESL 5 student and our instructor gave us instructions to follow in order to carry out this meeting. Before I begin to explain in detail how this happened, I want to emphasize we that had to explain clearly and in detail what must be done during our ESL 6 class, so it was not necessary but it was even better to send materials such as how to make a schedule or that kind of thing. It was really interesting to share my experience with people who want to do the same thing as me, it was a good time with them.

Homecoming I'm so happy to be a Tbirds and participate in the homecoming week that took place from 9/22/2019 - 9/29/2019.  for those who do not know who a Tbirds is, the Tbird is simply the staff of Southern Utah University.  The homecoming was an opportunity to make new friends and learn much more about the traditions  of this college. There have been many fun activities and also very rewarding. During this homecoming, I really did my best to be able to participate in each of the fun activities that  took place. Indeed, as I said above, in addition to fun activities, there were conferences that  personally changed my point of view about some of the things happening in the world. To be honest,  this homecoming was such a success for SUU even if we did not win our football game, it was still  very close like the football game. I look forward to participating in the next Homecoming ... Let's go Tbirds learn

WEEK 3(9-9-2019 - 9-15-2019)

Let's goo Tbirds!!!!! I attended a football match which took place at our stadium on 9/14/2019. We played against one of  the best colleges right now, it was the Texas SFA team. It was a very intense match because these  two teams have a lot of similarities in terms of strength and even speed. They fought like warriors, it  was a pleasure to watch this game. Indeed, we won this match with 45 to 38 points. Personally, I  think we have a really good football team. As I said earlier, they fought like warriors, I really like.  There were a lot of students who came to support their team. We had the cheerleaders and the SUU  fanfare, which was giving the team of SUU moral and strength. We started the game with a  touchdown in the first quarter, everything had started well for us until the opposing team started to  put a lot of pressure on our team, there was a lot of change of score up to we have the same score in  the last quarter, which le

7 day simplicity challenge Week 4 ( 9/16/2019)-(9/22/2019)

Live simple and being happy is for me a wonderful way to live our life. That's why I'm so excited for this activity I get this week in class which consists of living the most simple possible during a week. As you  can see my blog's title right now, 7day simplicity challenge,  I'm going to make a video or a text of each activity I'll do every day ( Monday- Sunday) and reflect on it.
